Crashing Google Wave Finds New Life in Open Source

Posted: December 3rd, 2011 | Author: Erik | Filed under: Creativity, Internet | Tags: Creativity, Google Wave | No Comments »

Držím palce tejto myšlienke a technológií aby prerazila a posunula elektronickú komunikáciu ľudí zase o krôčik do predu.

Bicycle Of The Future Shifts Gears Via Brain Waves

Posted: August 1st, 2011 | Author: Erik | Filed under: Creativity | Tags: Creativity, success | 1 Comment »

You’re looking at the bike of the future, where you’ll control gear shifts with your mind. This design concept is now in the prototype stage, and from the looks of the video above, it’s well on its way to a high-end bike shop near you.

Cyclists will adore the bike’s multiple aerodynamic design features and carbon fiber construction, but the most astonishing thing about the bike is its ability to change gears using its rider’s brain waves.

Flipboard

Jedna z najlepších aplikácii pre iPad. Každý podvečer si pozriem vždy aktuálny časopis, ktorého obsah si možete zmeniť podľa vaších predstáv. Flipboard je špička, dodáva RSS úplne iný rozmer, ľudský rozmer. Pefektná aplikácia a úplne zadarmo.

Springpad

iPad recenzie

Posted: April 9th, 2010 | Author: Erik | Filed under: Internet, Live | Tags: Creativity, Mac, tablet | No Comments »

Najlepšie urobíte, keď si tie recenzie pozriete a zhodnotíte kvalitu prevedenia a najmä obsahovú stránku veci.

Why The iPad Is Important

studio-1

Alright, I’ve read the reviews. I’ve the read Cory’s piece about open-ness and closed platforms (and I agree, open is better). I’ve read from the nit-picking details to the high level geekery, and I’m here to say, the iPad is an important device. Of course, some have already heralded it as the inflection point in “tablet” computing, and it is that – but the reason I think it’s important is actually a bit larger.

Google Wave Versus the Rest, Feature by Feature

Posted: January 29th, 2010 | Author: Erik | Filed under: Creativity, GTD | Tags: Creativity, Google Wave | No Comments »

We got a great response to last week’s frequently asked questions about Google Wave, and decided it’s worth expanding further on the differences between Wave and the current crop of web-based collaboration offerings.

Wave combines features from email, instant messenger, Google Docs, wikis, and forums and throws its own spin on things. For a quick visual of its offerings versus similar tools, check out this feature-by-feature comparison table. Read the rest of this entry »

PS3 Hacked, Exploit Is Now Available for Your Illicit Pleasure

Posted: January 27th, 2010 | Author: Erik | Filed under: Creativity, Game | Tags: Creativity, playstation | No Comments »

sony_playstation_3

GeoHot, one of the fathers of the iPhone’s jailbreak community, has just released the exploit that’ll unleash all sorts of promising PS3 hackery, just like he promised. We can’t wait for the homebrew and, frankly, piratical features this enables.

From the source:

This is the coveted PS3 exploit, gives full memory access and therefore ring 0 access from OtherOS. Enjoy your hypervisor dumps. This is known to work with version 2.4.2 only, but I imagine it works on all current versions.

You can find it at his page for now—try it out, let us know how it works!

An Epic 22-Minute Behind-the-Scenes of Avatar

Posted: January 21st, 2010 | Author: Erik | Filed under: Creativity, Movie | Tags: Creativity, life style, sci-fi, success | No Comments »
We’ve all heard allusions to Cameron’s massive sets, motion cap system and 3D/virtual cameras used to create Avatar, but this 22-minute clip actually shows us these techniques. (So don’t watch this video if you don’t want the magic spoiled).
Hit up about 16 minutes in to see CGI characters layered into live action scenes in real time—which is essentially augmented reality making its way into filmmaking.

Microsoft Courier Tablet
